About

I am from Alabama.  Over the years, the Lord has allowed me to call various parts of the US and the world my home through serving Him.  I came to know Christ as my Savior when I was nine, but did not answer the piercing call to serve Him with my life until I was in college.  From that moment on, the Lord has molded and stretched me in ways I never could have expected or imagined.  I am constantly humbled by His wondrous ways and provision.  The Lord has placed on my heart to return to Ghana with a focus on reaching students and families through educational outreach.  The goal is to implement an after-school program for students to focus on reading and writing skills while sharing the love of Christ in a vulnerable and impoverished atmosphere.  The prayer is that the community will witness and experience the undeniable love God has for them and come to know Him as the ultimate Sustainer.

Sustaining Love KIDS

Through the sustaining love of Christ, we will look to provide a safe and loving learning environment for vulnerable children and youth, as well as giving support to families all by building a bridge of love to the gospel.

Our Mission
Where We Serve

The Sustaining Love KIDS program will be hosted in a village called Zuime which is located in the Volta Region of Ghana. The nearest town is called Aflao. Aflao is a border town to Togo. The atmosphere in this part of Ghana is coastal. Zuime is a village about a 30 minute walk from the ocean. Dirt roads, dirt and concrete houses, and animals walking around loose is a typical sight to see in Zuime, along with the large population of children. If a child does not complete school, then the career options for them is to learn a trade such selling goods, tailoring,  fishing, or become a mason are a few examples. It is normal for the children to only be raised by a single parent or grandparent. Poverty is everywhere along with dark spiritual practices such as Fetish and black magic as well as Islam becoming more and more popular. The needs are great, but God is greater and He Sustains!
