GOD WHO BUILDS HIS KINGDOM IN US!

WHOSEVER WILL TO THE LORD MAY COME….

Hello friends!

After arriving back to Ghana from what seemed like a whirlwind and brief visit to the US, it has been evident how the Lord is emphasizing how He wants His Kingdom built IN us as His children! Most of my devotion times, prayer, and pondering of the Word have been about our joy and responsibility to build His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Day by day, this becomes increasingly challenging due to the chaos in this world. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy any passion or desire we have in doing the Lord’s work. But Good News and Spoiler Alert…. We are fighting a Battle that He has already Won! This has helped calm my heart and any concern I have over certain challenges or setbacks. Because no matter what, Whosever Will to the Lord may Come, He will not turn one away. Our hope, peace, and joy are found in our fellowship with Him.

HE SAID TO THEM, COME!

Just a few days after I arrived back to Ghana, I had the opportunity to attend a program that was organized by a group called Child Evangelism Fellowship. God makes connections, and we have the joy to partner for His Kingdom's Work. I had met this group previously during my visit to India back in 2023. Now, I’ve had the chance to work with CEF here in my home base of Aflao. They did a great job of organizing and training those who are interested in children’s ministry here in Aflao. We had about 30 plus participants over the course of 2 weeks of evening training. We were then challenged to go and teach the material we had been learning to the groups of children within the various communities where we live. Since the Sustaining Love Kids program is already an established and consistently meeting group of children, we were able to implement everything right away. Over the course of the last several weeks that we have been teaching the specific Bible Principles to the children at SLK, I have seen a spark of deeper interest and understanding in the children! We learned new songs, games, and Biblical Truths to teach the children. I thank God for His continued provision as He provides and sustains new and helpful ways to reach the children for His Kingdom.

FROM DAWN TO DUSK

Since the beginning of March, Muslims from all around the world have been practicing Ramadan. From dawn until dusk, no food, no water, only prayer and seeking Allah. This practice is almost one month long. Those who are committed will endure many physical challenges during this time with the hopes of receiving a blessing from Allah at the end. Many of the young Muslim children from our community who also attend Sustaining Love Kids have chosen to also participate in the day-long fast. It has been difficult to witness how tired and hungry they are when they already face such daily challenges without fasting from food. This has provided a more intentional desire to pray and provide truth to these little ones and their families. Truth sets us free. Join me in prayer as Muslims around the world end this practice and that they will end it still seeking Allah, but with the prayerful hope they will rather find Jesus!

FIRM FOUNDATION FOR THEIR FAITH

As I had shared before, the hope and goal of this time back in Ghana will be to intentionally build a library for children in the community that is for them to go and read books to grow intellectually but ultimately be a place of Christ-centered learning for Spiritual growth and discipleship. The beginning processes have started where the conversations have begun within the community elders and those I work closely with here as ministry partners and family in Christ. This type of project is not a one-person endeavor. It has to be done in unity and shared vision. We have made progress, but what the Lord is teaching me right now is to lean into Him and His timing. Sometimes, we must wait upon Him for clarity, but in the meantime, He is always working in the big and small. His Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done!
