Returning to Ghana

Beloved Friends,

I want to thank you all dearly for the love, patience, kindness, gentleness, and encouragement that you have partnered with me in this time I have had in the States. It has been a whirlwind of events that have brought me to and through moments of complete surrender and reliance on our Savior Jesus. The heart cannot be in two places at one time, but our God can! As I struggled with feeling disconnected from what may be happening in Ghana during my absence, He kept providing an abiding peace that He has all things beyond my control in His hands. Intercessory prayer has become my heartbeat as I continue to navigate the unknowns before me. As we all do here in this life.

I am preparing to head back to Ghana after being here for three months. The way forward is not clear, but one thing is for sure, I am trusting in The Lord with all my heart. He will show me the way in His good time. May His will be done. I look forward to continuing to keep you all updated.

This newsletter is in dedication and honor of dear friends and family I have lost here recently. The first one is Mawuenyo. I met her in 2018 in the village of Zuime. She gave her life to Christ at the ripe age of 90+ ! No one knows her actual age…. Mawuenyo became someone I would frequently visit and spend time with over the years along with my two sisters there in Ghana that would go with me. Mawuenyo was a joy and a humbling reminder that no circumstance can take away the peace of Jesus.

The second precious soul that has left this earth to be with Jesus is Prince. I could go on and on of my dear Prince. He is a miraculous work of God’s provision of healing and restoration at the brink of death many years ago. After years of witnessing Prince have physical transformation and be a testimony of the power and goodness of God, due to the spiritual bondage and darkness of the living environment he was in, he began to decline again physically. He lost his battle of life recently, but he did so with resilience and grace. I am thankful that he is no longer in pain and suffering but rejoicing with a new and restored body in the presence of our Father!

Lastly, I would like to give thanks to our Lord for my Uncle Amos. Over the decade of living overseas that God has had me participating in, my Uncle Amos has been a faithful and encouraging part of this journey. He was a prayer warrior and man of sincere faith. These three who have gone on to be with our Lord are all testimonies of lives that were lived despite physical challenges and setbacks. Perseverance and an abiding love in Christ .

I end this newsletter with a heart of gratitude and a humbled heart posture. May Christ be magnified in all things.

God Bless you my friends!

Chelsi
